Not much instruction and perfume doesn't last on skin
I purchased this class to attend with my teenage daughter. I didn't find this class to be much of a learning experience per se. The Molinard employee simply informed us that a perfume consisted of top, heart and base notes and instructed us to smell the scents and pick a few for each category. We then added them to the bottle based on her recommendations of amounts of each and took the bottle home. There was one Molinard employee in a room with approximately 15 people so she was spread pretty thin. One table had less scents to choose from and could only stay for 1 hour where our table were the individuals who signed up for the 90 minute class and had a lot more scents to choose from. That got confusing for the people at the other table who were not allowed to use our scents. I would say the "class" was a little disappointing but the most disappointing thing is that the perfume itself lasts on your skin for about 5 minutes and then completely fades. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend this class. We purchased other Molinard perfumes that do last on your skin so the scents they use for the class must not be as potent or missing something that gives the perfume some longevity. My daughter enjoyed the experience, otherwise I would have given it 2 stars.

Our group workshops do host several participants, which can sometimes limit the individual attention our expert can provide. Regarding the longevity of the perfume, it’s important to note that it varies depending on the composition of each fragrance. Additionally, the perfume generally requires a maturation period of 7 to 10 days for the notes to fully develop and for the scent to last optimally on the skin. For a more in-depth experience, with personalized guidance and perfumes with optimized longevity, we often recommend our private workshops. This format allows for tailored support in a quieter setting, with advice adapted to your preferences. We also take note of your comments about the organization and management of the different groups, and we continuously work to improve comfort and clarity during the sessions. Wouldn't recommend
We had hoped for a fun, informative class but what we had was a rushed session with little to no shared information. We expected to learn at least a bit about the art of perfumery and the skill behind pairing scents and matching them to body chemistry. Instead, we just smelled and mixed haphazardly. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this experience to friends.

Our perfume workshop is a one-hour group session designed to offer an introduction to the world of fragrance creation. While the format is condensed, it includes an explanation of the main olfactory families and allows each participant to create their own custom perfume. Our expert then uses her know-how to help you harmonize your chosen scents, identify the olfactory family of your creation, and guide you toward a well-balanced composition. Expérience agréable malgré la chaleur
L'atelier était très bien, l'animatrice est très professionnelle est semble être un nez ! En revanche, il faisait très très chaud et il n'y avait pas la climatisation. Ce qui n'est pas acceptable pour une maison telle que Molinard !

Concernant la chaleur, nous comprenons tout à fait votre remarque et vous présentons nos excuses pour l’inconfort ressenti. Une vague de chaleur soudaine a en effet surpris notre équipe, et bien que des mesures aient été prises rapidement pour améliorer les conditions (ventilation renforcée, adaptation des espaces), cela n’a malheureusement pas suffi sur le moment. Soyez assurée que nous mettons tout en œuvre pour garantir à nos visiteurs une expérience aussi agréable que possible, en toutes circonstances.
